Explore the traditional craft of artisan watercolors with our A. Gallo paint collection. These watercolors are hand-crafted and mulled with raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, and rosemary essential oil. Once mulled, the paint is poured by hand into individual pans which are refilled several times over the course of 4-5 weeks as they dry. The paint labels are hand written and manually wrapped, finishing off this intricate process. The intensive creation of these paints pays off in their pigmented, luminous final product. Developed in Italy for artists by artists, each watercolor is infused with tradition, expertise, and authenticity. 

Choose from sets of 6, 12, or 24 pigments that each come in beautiful packaging. The Essential and Landscape tins both include 6 pigments; the Essential pigments containing pairs of warm and cool primary colors, and the Landscape pigments designed for mixing vibrant and intense shades. The Signature pan contains a palette of 12 types of single pigments and secondary color blends. This collection comes with a hand tied traditional mop pocket brush. Gallo’s Naturale palette features 24 pigments, two mixing surfaces, a mop brush, and a color chart printed on watercolor paper.
