Golden Bird of Good Fortune

Every Golden Bird is sculpted by hand at the Henrietta Glass studio in Pawtucket, RI, making each bird a little different. The golden effect comes from fusing micro-particles of gold mica to the surface of the glass while it is at about 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
